Negative Consequences
Negative consequences are used to decrease a problem behavior. In our classroom they will be enforced with the intent that our students learn self regulation and not as a form of punishment. They will always be logical, enforced in combination with positive consequences and always preserve our student's dignity
Elementary
1. Verbal reminder 2. No stickers 3. No class currency 4. Change Seat 5. Lose recess minutes 6. Quiet time 7. Teacher's call home 8. Loss of involvement in desired activities in the classroom 9. Guidance Referral 10. Office Referral |
Secondary
1. Verbal warning 2. Lose recess minutes 3. Change seat 4. Student Behavior Contract 5. Private discussion with student 6.Teacher's call home 7. Loss of involment in desired activities in the classroom 8. Peer Mediation 9. Guidance Referral 10. Office Referral |
